Perfect gift for Grandsons 2nd birthday. Reviews said it held 100lbs of sand. We bought 4 50lbs bags - only used 1. Seemed like plenty. We Couldn't keep his 3yr old brother out of it long enough to give it to the birthday boy, so they both just finally crawled inside, sat in the sand, totally satisfied, not distracted by anything else.
