As a treat I put peanut butter in the middle and she can't get enough of it. I definitely recommend getting one of these if you have a medium to large size dog they will love it and you can put treats through the metal.

It's also great that it's safe and won't splinter. I don't like to give him raw hides, and he chews through most toys quickly, so this is a good mix between the two that will actually last. He chews on it throughout the day, but especially likes it when I put a little peanut butter in it. It's good quality too, and I think it would stay in tact with even the toughest chewer.
