I feed the birds during the winter. This suet cake is affordable and attracts a lot of woodpeckers. Usually go through 3 or 4 during the cold months.

I like to bird watch. I have a bird feeder that has multiple hooks on it to hold different feeders. I have this huge cake feeder that the woodpeckers love. I put this out for them and that cake feeder and it really attracts them all. My favorite is seeing the pileated woodpecker! this will last a good week or two depending on if the Red wings blackbirds show up and take everything! but it's good. we'll get the little birds and some bigger ones. I don't think I've seen any of the doves on it. but it attracts quite a few birds to my feeders. for the price and size and quality, I feel like this is very well worth it.
