Clorox Pool&Spa pH Down, Reduces pH in Swimming Pools, 5 lb Bag, Granules

Bought this pool pH reducer because my pool water was out here acting like acid from a cartoon. Dumped this in and the pool immediately stopped trying to burn everyone's eyeballs. Water went from “do not open your eyes” to “ah yes, refreshing suburban oasis.” I felt very scientist-y sprinkling it in, even though I was just following the little chart like a kindergartener. What it fixed: • Angry water ✅ • Itchy kids ✅ • My fear of the pool turning into soup ✅ What it didn't fix: • Leaves • Bugs • The neighbor kid who thinks this is a public pool 9/10 — brought the drama level of my pool way down. 🏊‍♂️🧪

I use a five-gallon bucket to dissolve this product., as recommended. I mix with a non-ferrous rod and proceed to pour in key location around the pool. I run my pool motor at 80% speed for at least 15 minutes and then re-check the PH level. This product helps me maintain the PH level where it needs to be.
