I thought this might be a one and done item due to my cat's claws, but it's really durable. I do wish it had loops to fix it to a lawn. My cat was able to collapse it on herself. What we did was place a large flat rock in the center. She still tries to climb the sides, but the rock prevents her from getting any leverage.
