Bake Shop Modeling clay is soft and easy to use, making it the perfect clay for kids and beginners! It is great for a variety of projects – school projects, figurines, holiday crafts and more! This Polymer clay stays soft until baked -No kiln is required. As it does not air dry, the clay remains soft and flexible until it is baked in your home oven. Extra clay can be stored and reused - won't dry out! Safe and non-toxic! Available in 12 fun colors - White, Yellow, Green, Orange, Red, Hot Pink, Purple, Turquoise, Blue, Tan, Brown, and Black.
- 2oz. of Sculpey Bake Shop Modeling clay
- Ages 8 and up.
- Our safe, non-toxic formula is easily pliable for small hands to enjoy. Bake Shop clay is similar in feel to ceramic clay, but it will not dry out by being exposed to air. This means you can store it and reuse it again and again. The only way Bake Shop clay will harden is through baking it in an oven.
- Bake Shop clay offers limitless opportunities to create any project you want, from unique jewelry to detailed animal figurines. You can also embellish school projects, make household decorations or mini food and furniture for dollhouses.
- After curing your projects, decorate them with a glaze finish or water-based acrylics. You can glue, sand, carve, drill and ink your creations, too.
- To bake your Bake Shop clay, preheat your oven to 275 °F. Once the oven is ready, place your crafts in the oven and bake for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch thickness. To avoid cracking or burning your craft, use an oven thermometer to gauge heat and avoid going over the necessary baking time.
- Ideal for all crafters, regardless of skill level: from beginners to advanced users.

great for the price
Its very good clay for the price , it is not the highest sculpey quality but still very good. It is also about 50% less the cost than the higher grade clays. I have tried some economy versions purchased online , and this is better than those while still about the same price. It is fairly easy to work with, kneeding in your warm hands helps get it a bit more pliable if it is hard. This is great for kids/ starting crafters.

I am relatively new to polymer clay and really enjoy the Sculpy bake shop clay. Colors are true and mix well to make marbled effects. The clay conditions easily and does not tire my hands getting it to a working consistency.
