I've used a lot of different types of electrical tape. Scotch brand tape is always reliable. I use it for covering exterior wires that are becoming damaged in the sun. I particularly like the plastic container... it keeps the tape clean and lint free, and it's useful for storing pins and small clips after the tape is gone.
