The uses for double stick tape are endless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased double stick tape months ago. I actually can't remember what the initial reason was. But since then, it's amazing how many different uses I've found for this type of tape! You know when you want to stick something, such as your child's artwork, or maybe a note, to the fridge? You reach for the regular tape and make a loop in order to stick the back of the paper onto whatever surface. Well, with double stick tape, you don't need loops! And for a quick fix for a Halloween costume, this tape makes a perfect, instant hem to any fabric. I will definitely keep a supply of double stick tape on hand, well, always!

Great product, BUT must dispose of 1st 8" of tape

I was frustrated at first, trying to use this item. Then I found this web page, read some reviews and realized that you MUST dispose of the first eight inches of protective wrap before attempting to use. This is info that really should be printed somewhere on the packaging. If not for this, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.

permanent double sided tape

I have been using the double sided tape for my home craft business of making greeting cards for several years. I love it. My cards do not fall apart ever. BUT this last year I have had nearly every roll of tape have a flaw in it that seperates in a very sharp distinct line leaving me to go back and try to find where it quit. It is annoying and time consuming to have the tape cut off where you do not want it cut off. What is the problem? Its not just one roll it been that way for last 6 months or more. Sometimes it splits in ragged edges, but most of time its a definite staight cut across the width of the tape. What causes this? Other than this I love this product.
