The Scosche NEXC11032W-SP1 dash cam showed up on my porch at the perfect time, as my long time dash camera died on me recently and I had been searching for another one. This dash cam is easily installed with a cut to fit adhesive which is included, just stick it to your windshield and you're good to go. It records every thing that is going on around you as you drive, and I love the feeling of safety and security that it gives me should any thing bad happen, and there are always some interesting things around that you wish you could record, but can't while you are driving. Anyway, this is a great little camera! It has a 1080p 140 degree front facing wide angle full HD camera lens, and has a high definition low light image sensor. The video from it is high quality, even at evening and night. This camera will start auto recording as soon as you start driving and does not turn off until you stop. You do not have to remove the SD card to erase anything, it will just record over old footage on its own with auto loop. And a 32 gig micro SD card is included with the camera! You can upgrade your SD card up to 64 gigs, if you like. The camera can be connected to the internet and integrates with all of your devices.

The Scosche NEXC10032-XTSP Dash camera is so feature packed that I don't know where to start. It has a small footprint on your windshield. It is about the size of your 3 fingers held together. The mount & its power cord is permanently stuck to the windshield with double sided sticky tape. The camera easily detaches / attaches to the mount via a small stabilizing post & C connection.. just like the C connection used by most cell phones. There is not a on-phone viewing screen on the back of the camera. Instead there is a sensitive microphone. When setting up the camera, I used my cell phone's charging cord to power it. I downloaded the NEXC app onto my phone from the Galaxy play store.. which took less than a minute. Then turned on the camera. The camera paired automatically with my phone in seconds via Blue Tooth. The camera is motion activated. The slightest movement will start it to recording to the SD card. The app will show the video of your drive... give you a running graph of your speed.. and show a map of your drive... turn by turn on your phone. Besides the motion activation.. you can start recording the drive to your phone via a simple screen tap in the app. You can select how much of your phone memory you want to use for recording dash cam video.. before it starts recording over it. This is separate from the SD card recording. I selected to store 20 GB of video on my phone. I have a 200 GB SD micro card in my phone.. so I have plenty of storage space. The instructions read that the audio is stored on the camera's SD card.. and can only be heard when playing back from the SD card itself. But when I played the videos back via Blue Tooth over my phone.. the audio played perfectly in-sink with the video. The 1080p video is crystal clear. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the video or the audio. The only down side might be that the camera mount doesn't allow for side to side adjustment of the camera view. The camera faces straight forward and can be adjusted up & down.. but not side to side. So make sure of your view using the app.. before you stick the mount to your windshield. Once you get your up / down angle set.. there is a allen screw you tighten. It is pretty much a set & forget camera. I'm very satisfied with the camera and highly recommend it. To me, one advantage about the camera not having a on-board screen is a safety reason. I have other dash cams that when they are on.. the display screen is bright and very visible from outside the vehicle. I was always worried that some thief would see the camera screen lighted up.. and knock my window out to get it. This camera is inconspicuous and is very sensitive. It will start recording a short clip if the vehicle is jarred in any way. I don't think you will be disappointed in this camera.
