Great Bike

Great bike! I love it for the frame design, how it handles in different surfaces, very confortable an great when biking upslope. Had some issues with the tires and inner tubes when first assembled but thanks to the excellent Schwinn customer support, the issue was quickly resolved. I wish had Schwinn brand tires and inner tubes instead. Handle pretty good in any surface that I ride, smooth, rough, paved, or unpaved with no issues. I'm not very familiar with disk brakes but I'm getting use to it with this bike. I have a High Timber 26 MTB that I bought brand new in 2003. Superb bike. Never gave a flat, still with it original tires and inner tubes. Ran a gravel event with it last year with no issues at all. Bearings never have been lubricated and still looking and working as new. By stating that, I expect a similar quality on my Sporterra. I choose that because is a “Schwinn” and I'm confident. And 20 years from now I will be 80' and hope still able to ride my bikes. Thanks.

Still not convinced

Tape on the handles bars of bike began to fall apart and stern part of bike where handle bars attached were bent a bit . Gears are hard to switch off, bike continues to make loud sounds when changing gears.

550 miles on the bike... the lower bracket is wobbly causing creaking and grinding noises. I need to order a crank puller to get the lower bracket apart to know if the bearing's are bad or just misaligned. I understand this happens, but I never guessed it would be after 2 1/2 months and 550 milles. I doubt you will use this, but just wanted to vent. Wont buy another Schwinn...
