This Schwinn taillight is a perfect addition to my bike. I live in Washington State and it gets dark here in the fall starting at 4 pm so by the time I get off work and get home it is dark out. This light really shines bright so motorists see me coming and going. I feel much safer having this on my bike. Thank you Schwinn for making this!

I really like it -- I actually got stopped by an officer because I did not have a rear taillight that was working; I just had a reflector. But it is unfortunately so necessary to have a light behind you because, well, thats where you're going to get hit if it happens. It just helps you convey to other vehicles that you are on the road, too. And this price is great. It comes with 2 batteries (I bought batteries for it, oops) and the flashing mode lasts many more hours than the continuous mode (I would prefer flashing on a bike anyways.) It has the rubber straps so I actually can stretch it and attach it to my rear cargo rack as well, since sometimes i have saddle bags and they would cover it if it were under the seat. It's also very bright -- you would think 5 lumens wouldn't be enough when some other lights are like 30 lumens -- but it's plenty bright enough even for early evenings. And I'm very pleased that it's the most cost effective choice.
