very cool looking bike. have gotten a bunch of compliments. rides great love the thick tires. i did have to change the seat out to a more comfortable one. i also need to buy a handlebar raised mount. the seat was too high but cutting the shaft with a metal saw worked easy to do. those minor modifications and the bike is perfect and great price

I like the bike, just the way it is. However if you are going to ride trails, changing the mechanical brakes for hydraulic brakes is a absolute must. I saw a pair for $45, but I went with a $67 pair. If you are older, I recommend changing the handle bar. I bought a bar with a 30mm rise. Fork is ok, but they are coil not air. Not a biggie, I may swap them one day. Online videos complain about the rear derailer not having a clutch, which might cause the chain to come off. As my name says, I am a novice, and I rode a bumpy, rocky, hilly trail this morning, and I didn’t have a issue with the chain. “Although I never went airborne”.

Just got it today! Put on the blue Rockbros pedals and wake riser handlebars. Attempted to install shimano Deore 12s group set, but rear wheel setup for 11s max. May just need a new hub cassette adapter, but for now its just the stock drivetrain. The one with the dropper post is not yet available on Walmart website, but I have seen it show up when searching. It appears to be red with the blue Schwinn logo and accents. Probably available in a week, but not for 398! Like this one!
