I've been home coloring my hair for 30 years. This one is top tier quality. First time trying. Although I can't speak to the fading yet, the color is even , beautiful and left my hair soft. I have natural dark blonde hair but dye it a light auburn . I also have a few greys. So this hair color completely even out my new growth, greys, and faded red. Now… it was lighter than expected. I just really wanted to try this brand but I couldn't find a “light auburn”. All the other brands I have grown unhappy with because of their lack of luster . Well to start off I've been using Schwarzkopf Ultime Mahogany Red for over 10 yrs but I recently found out they were discontinuing the line. Of course I wasn't happy. I reached out to them and got a recommendation on the Schwarzkopf Keratin Line. I decided to give it a try…I used Rich Bordeaux and it was actually very close to the color I've been using but deeper and a bit darker. It's fitting for a fall color change. The color is very pretty and the pre-conditioner to put on your ends smells so good. The color came out really nice! I'm happy with my choice-for those who say it runs out quickly as reds sometimes do-don't wash your hair so much and use a mild shampoo. It's not only the color that's fading but the harsh ingredients in your shampoo. I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week.
