Selects batt type on its own. Selects charge rate. Built in trickle charge keeps batt level up and sulfating low. May be the best batt charger I have ever owned. Only negative is lack of current/voltage indications. Although not important to use, I like to keep track of both.

This is such a basic charger I wasn't sure I would like it since it didn't have a boost/start mode. I was surprised at how fast it charged my SUV. My battery was so dead it wouldn't let me use the key fob to unlock the door, I was able to start it up after 30 minutes of charging. I definitely recommend.
