Banquet Chicken Pot Pie, 11g Protein, Frozen Meal, 7 oz.

I hadn't eatened Banquet's chicken pot pie in quite a while. I was enticed by the $1.00 price and decided to try them again. It was okay but not overly enjoyable. One thing that I had issue with was that the filling seemed to be thicker at the bottom of the pie. Later I was buying other Frozen dinners and decided to try the pot pie again. This time I prepared it differently. After it was heated I kept the crust as much to the top and stirred the filling to balance the consistency of it from top to bottom. I liked it much better. I mean I'm not going to stockpile it for a hurricane or anything but I will buy it again.

Have purchased banquet chicken pot pies for years, great for a budget, one of few brands that have top and bottom crust. Cooks beautifully to golden brown and is flakey with good taste. The filling is really good except i do not like the flavor of the chicken chunks, so i push that aside and share it with one of my yard critters.
