Dap 08642 Dow Corning Black Silicone Sealant

I'VE BEEN USING 100 % SILICONE CAULKING FOR OVER 20 YEARS NOW AND DON'T SEE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BRANDS (GE, ETC). I USUALLY DON'T WRITE REVIEWS BUT THE RAITING WAS SO LOW AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ? IT WORKED PERFECT !!! I FIXED MY CAR TRIM, AND MATCHED THE COLOR. NO I DON'T WORK FOR DAP. IT WORKED JUST LIKE ANY OTHER 100 % SILICONE CAULKING, AND IT'S GOOD FOR 50 YEARS, SO I GAVE IT A 5 STAR RAITING.

Great product! The first review of 1star was a user error.

Ignore the previous review about back packaging. It was a user error, because the user didn't know that almost every caulk gun has a needle on it to puncture the inner seal before use. If you don't puncture the seal, you are going to blow out the back of your tube of caulking or sealant. Read the instructions people.
