More difficult to use then appears. In order to close the clamp I stand in the truck bed and push down the cross bar with my foot. While this holds the unit very tight, it is almost suicidal to release the unit to take it off the truck.

DO NOT BUY!!! Does not mount on 2 inch shank!!!

DONT BUY!!! Impossible to mount! Reached out to manufacturer for help and no reply. It doesnt have anything to do with strength on clamping it into place. It has to do with not being manufactured correctly. Its way too small to clamp on. Pain in butt to return thru Walmart store too. Save your money, save your time. Too bad. Still looking for good solution to mount bikes and pull trailer.
