this is what we have purchased for years. and my husband is determined to stay on this brand. however lately I tried the Walmart brand that is round a loaf and it's just like this. as far as I know it's approximately the same thing. however this it does have a little bit more course texture but not much. and sometimes the sprinkles of wheat or whatever on the top which I don't really like. it doesn't taste as good as the Walmart Bread either. for the money the Walmart brand is the best value! it is great bread! I was very impressed!

Good taste and good value!

Of the major brands of whole wheat bread I've tried, I find this one the most satisfying and versatile. Some are too sweet, some are too grainy. This one has a heart but smooth texture, a good flavor, toasted or not, and is good with a variety of foods---meats, PBJ, and egg salad. Plus you get a good amount for the money.
