Santo Remedio Red Yeast Rice Dietary Cholesterol Supplement Capsules, 600 mg, 60 Count

I have found these Santo Remedio capsules to be unique. This product is very “old school” in my opinion. The first thing I notice is that the bottle is tamper evident, which is good. I have included a picture of the seal. Removing the seal reveals a sort of cotton plug on the bottle's opening, which likely is there to prevent excessive rattling of the capsules during shipment. Removing the cotton reveals the capsules themselves. I have included a picture of a capsule next to a ruler just to show the size. At less than 1 inch in length, I find these capsules to be reasonably sized for an adult. There is a very, very faint smell coming out of the bottle which is not unpleasant but almost indescribable. The best I can describe it is the scent you would find in an old library. You can only barely smell it, and only if you put the bottle up to your nose, which I did but for review purposes only. I tried my best to test the flavor of the capsules. They are also a strange and indescribable flavor. The closes thing I can think of is molasses that is not sweet. The entire experience with this product gave me the impression of a rustic, old school, and antique style supplement. So pill size, smell, and flavor are the 3 observations that I made. Overall, I really enjoy the uniqueness and “old school” sensation this product gives out. It's easy to swallow. I will buy more and I do recommend this 100%.
