Many Issues Shortly After Warranty Expiration

we, like many others who left reviews, had an issue with our ice dispenser mixing water and ice. it turns out it was a symptom of a bigger cooling problem throughout the entire unit and the software is not accurate in that it still indicates low temperatures that we set for the unit but that is not the reality as our food in the freezer has thawed and many items in our refrigerator have not been adequately cooled and we had to throw out quite a bit of food due to spoilage. we've had issues with our other samsung appliances lack of durability shortly after the warranty expires so would not recommend this product specifically or samsung appliances generally without an extended warranty or until the company puts more emphasis on creating durable products.

Nice, BUT

Nice but, the icemaker is horrible and needs to be defrosted weekly (even after numerous service visits and complete unit replacement). Software updates to touchscreen reduced slideshow controls.
