This is my first Samsung Galaxy, and so far this phone has been great! It's worked reliably on the Mint network in the Ohio, Michigan, %26 Indiana area. I like that Samsung allows you to remove a large number of the preinstalled apps. And the battery life has been reliable, even when staying up late playing mobile games, before bedtime, the battery will still have about a 25% charge left.
