There are perfect for most cabinets and drawers. They worked great on my kitchen cabinets which sit on top of the wood that makes up the cabinets themselves. I installed them on a sideboard type table which has the doors inset (not sure how else to describe that) and it makes those doors stick out a little. It helped install them a little bit further inside, but they still stick out a little. It's not a big deal for me because it doesn't stick out too much and it keeps toddlers out. The sticky pads are actually very strong. I could not get inside a couple of the drawers to install them but they are sticking so well that I don't have to worry about screwing them in. I did screw them in for all the kitchen cupboards because I assume the toddlers are going to more force on them. Switching the lock/unlocked mode is really easy. So if I want to let my toddler to play with the pans I can just change it quickly. This is a quality product and I've bought 2 boxes so far.

Effective and Easy to Install—Just read directions

Don't make the mistake I did and think you can just pop these suckers on any way you'd like. They're made cleverly to align perfectly so long as you follow installation instructions—simple to read, I just didn't take the time with my first one! After that it was a breeze. So far my one year old hasn't been able to yank any of the cabinets open with these locks, and the adhesive holds well(I know because I tried to remove the first one I applied incorrectly…not happening without ruining the whole lock so I let it be).

Safety 1st adhesive latches

Review of Safety 1st adhesive cabinet and drawer latches I like that this comes in a large eight pack; that gives me enough to do all my cabinets. After reading the short instructions, these are super simple to install. I just used the adhesive (peel and stick). These come with screws also if needed, but I don't think that I will need to screw them into my cabinets. I just installed them, so unless the adhesive weakens over time, they should be fine. These are easy to switch over from the "lock" to the "off" position if they do not need to be used for a period of time. These do take a little effort to push down with just one finger, but that is kind of the point. I love that these are easy to install. Overall five out of five stars.
