Product does not work as directed it says see below

The instruction say to "Separate halves by disengaging snaps. We found this impossible to do. We gave up on trying to install them. Please note since the snaps are all opposing they cannot be disengaged as the directions are written

Pitiful - can't open the darn thing!!!!

Poor Instructions / terrible design! Pinched my fingers trying to open. Never could! Going back to store!
