BIJAR, RED / RUST, 6'-7" X 9', Area Rug
The artistry and craftsmanship of Kurdish rug makers is recreated in the Bijar Rug Collection. Known as "The Iron Rugs of Persia," Bijar rugs are traditionally styled but with a nod to vogue colors and high-touch textures. The grand Persian motifs of Bijar are marvelous decorative focal points, with brilliant hues and vibrant highlights accentuating the soft, ornate pile of each rug in this distinctive collection.
