Simply, the light is whiter and brighter. A noticable improvement over the Sylvania Xtravision version I was using. Easy installation on my Honda CRV (driver side more difficult given limited space). My only gripe is the price. Hopefully I won't need to change these bulbs any time soon.

they really make a difference

These bulbs really make a difference when driving at night. They are somewhat costly, (walmart seems to have the best price) and they dont last as long as the less intense bulbs but I would still recommend them especially if you have difficulty driving at night, they really light up the road.
