I ended up having to buy 2 x 0.5 cubic feet of sand from Home Deport in my effort to get these filled up. So far so good - I took it to one vendor event and it stablized my canopy very nicely without having to pin it down with heavy blocks. My only complaint was that the sand filling actually costed me an extra $15 which raises the total price of the final product.
