Solid machined and anodized aluminum

My old cabinet knobs had issues and were a bit tired looking. The replacement process was extra work for me because the screws that are provided were too long. I had to add two small spacing washers to the head of each machine screw before it would tighten all the way. My cabinet doors are thinner than average. The old shorter screws were corroded and their threads did not match the knob threading. The final result is a more attractive kitchen. There was an issue with excessive wasteful packaging of this product. Two outer bags were non-recyclable plastic. Only the bags containing the individual knobs were recyclable. Inside each of those bags was the screw, also in non-recyclable plastic. They can do better. The knobs are not cast aluminum as described for this product, they were machined and that is better for this type of knob. The machine turned surfaces look nicer when they catch the light, in my opinion. These will be easy to clean. I just hope the anodizing lasts, there is no way for me to come back later and edit this review about a possible failure of the anodizing which would leave them looking dull and dirty. At least the aluminum is easy to recycle. I didn't need the included double ended screwdriver which has a cheap non-recyclable handle.
