Love these warm and comfy socks!

Love these socks! They have more wool than most of the rest, and the cushioned sole adds more warmth without excess bulk. I've washed them a couple of times, and they wash well. (Obviously, being wool, they don't go into the dryer, but hang to dry.) They feel great, with an elasticized instep that keeps them comfortably snugly in place. So far they seem comparable to the Smart Wool socks I've relied on in winter, at a fraction of the price. They may run a bit small: I wear a size 6 or 61/2 shoe, and these fit fine, with just a tad of extra room at the toes. My only qualifier is that I'd like them to be available in grey or black colors, as the brown and navy are not as compatible with my clothes.

Great go-to winter socks

These have become my go-to winter socks. For warmth, I go for a high wool content and a cushioned sole -- and these socks fill the bill. I find them very comfortable with the pleasantly snug arch fitting, and the price is so reasonable for this quality of socks, I've ordered more of them several times now. I do wish they came in grey or black colors. They may run a bit small: I wear a 6 or 7 shoe, and the socks fit me perfectly, with just the right amount of wiggle room in the toes. (However, they have some elasticity, and are probably stretchable for larger feet.)
