Got this gate to replace the one we had that broke. It comes with different extensions which can help it get installed in many different ways.It can be installed by 2 ways pressure mount using adhesive or hardware mount using screws. The lock mechanism is easy for adults to use but would be hard for my toddler son to open on his own which makes it extra safe. over all very satisfied with this product.

I like that the door swings both ways and that it has just vertical bars that don’t give our puppy the ability to climb. I also like that it can be put up with just tension screws or as our puppy gets older/bigger, we can screw holders into the jam for added security.

I bought this for my brother and sister in law who have steep stairs that they needed to block off so their 3 year old could not climb them. I realize in the pics it is installed sideways, but this actually worked better for them. It was super easy to install. It is so solid that even their 100 lb dog does not push through it. This gate will last a long time and I am thinking about getting one for myself. Worth the money for how well it is made.
