You can't have too many of these

I have used these fans for, it seems, a good twenty years. The best thing is that they move air without having a grating in front of the blades. That is because, technically, you can stop the fan by putting your fingers into the whirring blades. I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING THIS, but all the same the fan is not likely to hurt a pet. I would not encourage kids to try it either. Bottom line, this fan is safe without the grating over it. I bought extras of these fans in case one of them fails. I keep them permanently in three rooms.
