Solid performance, sound purchase

I've never needed a wifi extender before, but we just moved to a new house where one device location received a weak signal. In considered buying one of the cheapest and seeing how it worked out, but the reviews and my past experience with Netgear equipment led me to decide that I'd rather spend just a LITTLE bit more and be more confident of good results. The installation was fairly simple. One device didn't seem to want to connect to the extender's piggyback network the first time, but a reboot solved the issue. And the most distant device (in a camper outside the house) went from a mostly 40%-50% signal to a mostly 70-100% signal , with the accompanying better/more reliable performance. Would the ten-buck no-name device have done as well? I can't claim to know ... but I didn't want to take the chance, I went with a brand I trust, and the results speak for themselves.
