I purchased a universal filter as a replacement after using the original filter for over eight years. Purchasing online directly from K&N worked great for me because it allowed me the opportunity to feel confident that I was getting the right filter for my intake system. living in Alaska we have a lot of dust, sand and volcano dust on the roads year round. They can't get it all up when they sweep. I bought an extra RF-1041 for my GMC truck so I can have the extra protection and efficiency with no down time. It was the best buy I ever made next to my truck.
