Enchanted Arms - PlayStation 3

I thought that this was going to be a great buy for the PS3! I love RPG's and with a new system, there was no limit to the possibilies! Boy was i wrong!!!! Don;t get me wrong, though! The colors are great and the animation almost at the top, but the story lines....FORGET IT!!! The game play is slow, and the dialog is SO boring! I can say that the only good thing about this game, is that they released it at a price of $19.99! Even then that seems a little to expensive for this title

This game had an enjoyable gameplay system for the combat but there were issues overall. The game itself is rather small the the 50 hour marketed gameplay isnt due to size but simply due to WAY too many random encounters. For fans of the Final Fantasy series I believe you will be greatly disappointed, for this game is linear ... and exploration is minimal (theres 1 way to go and the path is only opened after you complete the sequence of events leading to it). All and all I don't rate this game very high on the basis of gameplay and replay value. Gameplay----------- 4 out of 10 (due to repetive random encounters) Graphix ------------- 6 out of 10 (equivalent to FF8, which considering this is a PS3 game seems below par but still quite good in general) Combat ------------- 8 out of 10 (easy and fast paced but enjoyable because of the Vitality Points making 1 round combat a priority, it forces you to think strategy) Replay value ------- 1 out of 10 (theres no point once thru and you will have completed 100% of the game)
