CAUTION Severe allergic reactions can occur from the use of hair colorants. Do not use this product if you’ve ever experienced any allergic reactions from any hair coloring products. It is important to read and follow the instructions carefully. This product contains ingredients that have the potential to cause skin irritation in some individuals. Therefore, a preliminary skin allergy test should be conducted 48 hours before use (refer to above instructions). It is important to note that this product should not be used to dye your eyebrows or eyelashes, as doing so could result in blindness. Before using this product, you must perform a preliminary 48-hour skin allergy test (see above). This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Keep out of reach of children. If you have a temporary ""black henna"" tattoo, it may increase your risk of allergy. Do not use if your hair has been colored with henna. Do not color your hair if you have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp, or if you have ever experienced a reaction after coloring your hair. Prevent contact with eyes and rinse immediately if the product gets into your eyes. Do not use this product to dye your eyebrows or eyelashes and wear the provided gloves. Do not mix this product with any other product. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Remove contact lenses before use. Wait a minimum of 14 days after bleaching, relaxing, or perming your hair before using this product. Do not use any tools other than the ones provided in this package during the coloring process. Keep away from heat and light.

BEFORE YOU START (conduct 48hrs prior to use) PRELIMINARY ALLERGY TEST Before each use of this or any other hair color product, it’s essential to perform a skin allergy test at least 48 hours in advance, regardless of whether you’ve used the product before without any adverse reactions. This skin allergy test is the most effective way to determine whether you’re allergic to hair color or are developing sensitivity to it. However, it's important to note that this test does not guarantee avoidance of future reactions. Although uncommon, allergic reactions such as itching, irritation, burning, redness, swelling, or eruptions can occur from using permanent hair color products, including this one, and in rare cases can be severe. If you have ever experienced any of these symptoms while using this product, it’s important to STOP using hair coloring products immediately and consult a doctor, as they may indicate that you have developed an allergy. Wash the inside of your elbow bend and dry. Mix and apply the pouch contents. Monitor the test area periodically for the next 48 hours. If you experience no reaction, it is safe to proceed with coloring. However, if at any point during this period, you notice any itching, irritation, burning, redness, swelling, or eruptions in or around the test area, DO NOT USE ANY MORE PRODUCT. In the event of a reaction during or after coloring your hair, IMMEDIATELY rinse your hair with shampoo and discontinue use. INSTRUCTIONS Shampoo your hair as normal and towel dry. To prevent unwanted staining, apply skin protectant cream around hairlines (forehead, outer edges of ear, and nape) Put on the gloves provided. There are two separate contents inside the color pouch. Tear or cut with scissors along the dotted line by the corner and squeeze out contents onto: Hands (gloved) tray (provided) Mix the darker formula (color-base) and the white formula (developer) together until it’s one consistent shade. Apply onto hair and massage evenly throughout hair. Wait 3 - 7 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. Use the Color Lock Conditioner for even longer lasting results.

This was absolutely easy to use. I wet my hair. Shampooed my hair with both packs left on for about 5 minutes because I was in a hurry. Used the conditioner. What did I get? Soft black hair. I love it. It is my new favorite way to dye my hair. I used 1 of these boxes for short hair (right above my shoulders) there was more than enough.
