It eliminates the need for a key, though there is one included so is perfect for an elderly parents home. All children have easy access to enter and immediate access can be given to emergency services on the phone if a parent cannot get to the phone. And the access code is easy to change.

This doorknob is easy to install and easy on the eyes. We wanted a keypad lock so that we didn't have to keep a key, and this allows for easy access. Kepad works well and we haven't had any issues unlocking the door.

Easy to install. Easy to program codes. Seems well built, I have only been using it for a week so I don't know about the battery life yet, I do wish there was an option to include a deadbolt that uses the same key for that rare time you may need to unlock it by a key so I didn't have to carry 2 keys but rarely use one of them. Overall satisfied with this purchase.
