Consider the use of this rug. If in a heavily used area the fibers wear down quickly. It's hard to get them to fluff up. Ours has our couch on it and when you sit with feet on floor you can tell a big difference in the height of the pile. It's a beautiful rug with great color. I wish the fibers did not mat down so easily as it makes the rug look old and worn.

It didn't shed as much as some reviews stated which made me happy. It is however very thin. I love the color and love the rug. I'm keeping it. Just wish it was a little more plush. It did have a slight barn smell for about an hour ( like hay or straw) but I was raised on a farm and didn't mind it at all.
