Safavieh Courtyard Regent Oriental Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug, Brown/Natural, 6'7" x 6'7" Square

I bought this indoor/outdoor runner for the entry from my garage through the laundry room. Wanted something easy to clean, that would trap dirt, sand, leaves etc upon entering. I also wanted rug without that horrible non-slip backing that crumbles, leaves imprints, discolors etc the floors. Also wanted a good looking runner, as this entry is used a lot. I love this runner made by Safavieh. Colors run true to web, blends nicely with our travertine floor, natural look. Nicely made with smaller stitches than other outdoor rugs I've seen and having a leaf motif border around the edges for more detail. The stitches in the central part are even finer (smaller) and it traps sand, dirt etc quite well. I think color, pattern will hide any surface dirt pretty well. Since it is not absorbent, like cotton, it does not let moist dirt soak in and stain. It dries into dry dirt which is then vacuumed or shaken. Eventually I will hose it down in driveway with soap and water. Actually, it is so nice and reasonably priced, I am considering searching for a large version to use in a bonus room. Note: it does need a non-slip rug pad if used indoors on slick, hard flooring. What kind depends on your floor.
