This knife came extremely sharp right out of the box. The digi-grip handle is very effective for keeping a nice tight grip whenever your hands are sweaty or wet. The handle is also really comfortable and has a decent feel, it just feels like it fits the blade. It has great balance and could be thrown if you are experienced. As a beginner knife thrower I would not try to throw it at long distances. I also like the three holed handle as it can be used to wrap paracord for a thicker handle or making a spear or lengthening the handle to cut higher branches. The back of the blade rips through wood like a hand saw, very raw but effective. The pommel is great for scraping and hammering but too rigid to drive nails. It's a great knife for the value and I would recommend this to anyone who camps or hunts because it is so versatile it could be used as a machete, heck I bet you could easily butcher game with it.... ALSO the thumb grip on the back of the blade really comes in handy for controlled use and the smooth/serrated blade makes it easier to cut a variety of things. overall great tool. Only thing that lacks is the sheath. It's not leather or plastic, I believe it's vinyl. It has a pocket for a stone but doesn't come with one. This could be remedied with a couple holes and some paracord to tie around the leg + a small stone. All in All, I prefer this over the jungle warrior although I do like them both.

I buy alot of big knives such as this one and the jungle primitive is the best one so far. i have had it for about two years and it still works great. the main thing that i use this knife for is to either cut down trees or to chop up fallen trees into smaller pieces. it is a very reliable knife and i would recomened it to anyone who wants a knife that will last them a long time without breaking.
