. Painting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not use on metal directly exposed to flames. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist. Preparation: Remove loose paint and rust with wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Priming: Use of Rust-Oleum® High Heat Primer provides added corrosion protection, superior adhesion and hiding and is especially recommended for metal surfaces. Painting: Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle Do not strike can. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can 8-12" from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. Note: High Heat paint features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down for those hard to reach areas. A comfort spray tip with wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Dry & Recoat Times based on 70°F (21°C) - 50% relative humidity. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1-2 hours. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. May recoat anytime after 1 hour. Once dry, High Heat must be further cured to increase durability. Allow paint to dry 1-2 hours before proceeding to next steps below. Follow directions accordingly. Items may emit smoke and harmless odor at first. Items Off of Vehicle: Bake at 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes then allow 30 minutes to cool. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for 30 minutes then allow 30 minutes to cool. Bake at 600°F (315°C) for 30 minutes then allow 30 minutes to cool. Caution: Be sure not to exceed the heat tolerance of the least heat tolerant part. Items on Vehicle. Run vehicle at idle for 10 minutes then allow 20 minutes to cool. Run vehicle at idle for 20 minutes then let cool for 20 minutes. Run vehicle at normal operating conditions for 30 minutes then allow vehicle to cool.

Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the content may be harmful or fatal. VAPORS MAY IGNITE EXPLOSIVELY. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone. Prevent build-up of vapors by opening all windows and doors to achieve cross-ventilation. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Do not breathe dust, vapors or spray mist. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness, wear respiratory protection (NIOSH approved) or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. FIRST AID: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
