Product details
Russian Banana is the best of the fingerling potatoes. Whether baked, boiled or steamed, the 4 to 6 inch long fingerlings have wonderful flavor. They are especially popular with chefs and specialty markets. Russian Banana is easy to grow, demonstrates good disease resistance and produces large yields. Plant 3 to 5 inches deep, with 8 to 12 inches between plants and 30 to 36 inches between rows. Fertilize when planting. As plants emerge, mound soil over each row to protect the tubers from turning green in the sun. Harvest when the tops turn yellow. Russian Banana can be stored at 40°F - 50°F. Each offer includes one bag of approximately 1 lb of seed potatoes. Hardy in USDA zones 3 to 9. Due to state restrictions we can't ship to customers in ID, ME, MT, or NE.
