Ruger NXG APX Pump Air Rifle 490 FPS .177 BB and Pellet. The Next Generation APX is the genesis of modern youth air rifles. It redefines the standard of air guns designed for younger and small-framed shooters with a multitude of modern-day features that includes an automatic safety-a feature never before seen on a pneumatic rifle of this type. The dual ammunition APX features a progressive stock design that's ergonomic, modern, and impact resistant. Its multi-pump action and easy-load pellet ramp are easy to use for right or left-handed shooters and it deploys projectiles up to a velocity of 490 feet per second at maximum air charge. The adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight protected by its sleek muzzle brake allow you to quickly zero in on your intended target when shooting either pellets or steel BBs.

Great looking work of art! This thing looks so cool I can hardly stop staring at it. Very well designed mechanically, so it is efficient and strong. The weight is right on for steady aiming and not too heavy but it does weigh a lot. Perhaps more for an adult and not a kid. l would not get it wet in the rain, though, as I don't have a clue as to how to break it down to clean or dry it. The safety works better than I thought it would and can be set to off really easily without distraction like some others are. Experienced gun owners will love this high quality pellet rifle but don't give it too a kid, this is not a toy.

Very Easy to use !!! Put bbs in the side of the gun, pull back the lever pump the gun to desired strength of air you want, not to exceed 10 pumps, put A bb in the chamber slide the lever forward aim the gun push the safety forward pull the trigger
