Money well spent, accurate out if the box, just needed minor fine tuning. I bought to control pigeons that have taken up residence in my shop. after using it i decided was too powerful to use in the shop building unless i wanted holes in the tin. So i use it primarliy for varmint control. Has no trouble taking out a prairie dog at close to 100 yards...

This is a very good pellet gun. Anything Ruger tends to be. At 1200 fps it makes a definitive crack sound and is very accurate. Only thing I would complain about is I was not informed there are no returns for air rifles. I would have gotten the 22 cal version that is about a 120 fps slower.
