This is used as a laxative. For adults and children 12 years and older, 2-3 teaspoonfuls once a day preferably at bedtime, increase as needed or as recommended by a doctor, the maximum dosage should be 3 teaspoons in the morning and 3 teaspoons at bedtime. I I ordered Senna liquid for my son, who has special needs, to help with his constipation. When I first gave it to him, his face looked really uncomfortable. I thought maybe because it wasn't cold enough. The next day, the same thing happened. When I checked the label and compared it with the one I ordered, I noticed they were different.
