Royal jelly is critical to my overall functioning, and I find this one to be very good. For me, it is a miracle. My major interest is in the BH4 that royal jelly has. BH4 (tetrahydrobiopterin) is an essential coenzyme involved in the production of dopamine and serotonin. For persons who have an underproduction of either of these two neurotransmitters or especially both, BH4 can be a huge help. I take it throughout the day. Deficits can be either in the initial production of BH4 or in it's recycling. It is used up quickly, turned to BH2 and BH0, and these must be renewed to BH4. If you have glitches in that biochemistry, royal jelly might help. Glitches here may include ADHD or autistic traits, including being non- or low verbal. I learned of it in a list Amy Yasko had of two particular genetic snips, the particular forms of which matched mine, under the label of "if your child is non-verbal and has these snips, try these." The only thing on the list the Whole Foods store had was royal jelly, I bought it, and within an hour I began a much improved life, including my abilities for speech. That doesn't mean everyone needs it. But it can be a miracle for those who have one of the many common varieties of this particular genetic weakness. And of course, I know there are other benefits, but this is the one for which I buy it. I dislike one thing about this brand and that is the labeling. But I gave my stars based on the product. I find the label misleading as the large print front labeling reads ROYAL JELLY 2500MG, when in fact the tiny print on the back tells you that's for two capsules, if you can read the tiny print. Honesty would have the front label read ROYAL JELLY 1250MG. I was tempted to drop a star or two for that, but decided that might be misleading at a glance, since I find the product effective which is what a shopper wants to know at a glance.
