Product details
The Oatey 130 Series ABS Low-Profile Shower Drain with Square Oiled Rubbed Bronze Square Hole Strainer is designed for use with tile or marble shower bases where a shower pan liner membrane is required. The low profile design allows for installation in tight spaces. The drain body solvent welds over 2 in. or inside 3 in. ABS Schedule 40 DWV pipe. The reversible clamping collar is secured with four stainless steel bolts into brass inserts. The 2 in. IPS-threaded strainer barrel is adjustable to allow for easy height adjustment. Weep holes in the drain assembly allow drainage from the pan liner. Drain barrel includes 4-3/16 in. oil rubbed bronze screw-in strainer. Oatey products have earned the trust of plumbing professionals for over 100 years. Material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS).

Oatey Low Profile Square Bronze Strainer ABS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a stand-alone Roman-type shower that has a significant tile area requiring a large strainer. The Low Profile Bronze Strainer was a perfect size and larger with a very attractive fitting. Since my shower tile floor is an off-white color, the bronze strainer made it look fantastic. The strainer was adequately sized to handle soap particulates and hair. I like the fact the strainer is built to handle hair loss and drains effectively without clogging up my pipes. The quality of materials used to produce the strainer is very good. I expect the strainer to provide a long service life. The base is produced with ABS plastic that will withstand hard water and other types of chemicals. This strainer will be very competent, reliable, and easy to service. I give the strainer a 5-STAR Rating.

Round peg in a square hole
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oatey low profile ABS strainer is the perfect addition to the look I was trying to achieve. This drain allows for the conventional round drain with the addition of the square modern look that fit perfectly around the tile for a more secure seal. The cleaning of the product is simple and not time consuming needing multiple tools. just pop off. Beautiful addition for the DIY project.
