Hot Cold Knob Fail

We had this item installed in our master bath, along with a shower head and also a hand-held shower wand in Venetian Bronze approx. 5 years ago. Very shortly after install, the plastic Hot/Cold knob broke; it was falling off (it's made of plastic). I called Delta and was sent a replacement very quickly, which was great. Here we are 5 years later and it's broken, again. I just went on-line and purchased TWO, one to replace the current, broken one and another for a back-up because I have no doubt it will break at some point in the future. Other than this knob, we have been very happy with the items in general.
