Refurbished Steam Station

I have been very impressed with this steam station. I was concerned about a ceramic plate but it removes wrinkles from fabric very well. When fusing if a small amount of fusible gets on the plate it wipes right off. Very good steam for flattening quilt blocks and completed quilts for quilting. I purchased refurbished because I was afraid to try it as I hadn't heard much about the brand but was very pleasantly surprised.

Well Worth the Money

This is the most money I have ever spent on an iron (I am used to cheap ones that don't last and don't work great) but I LOVE this iron. You get what you pay for. I need something good that I can use for quiltmaking and garment construction and this one works wonderfully. Well worth the money. I like everything about it.

perfect station for home ironing

The Maven 120IS ironing station is very easy to use. The steam flow is steady and powerful. I was able to use the station on the highest setting with constant steaming for almost 2h before the water tank ran out – which means even longer usage with a lower setting. The iron bips every time you release steam, and the sound is quiet and soft enough to be enjoyable. The iron plate is smooth, and offers enough weight for efficient pressing without feeling heavy. The lock feature makes it convenient and safe to carry around. I would definitely recommend the Maven station for quality home ironing!
