I bought the ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter to use with my 7th Gen Lenovo Carbon X1. As I have two USB C cables plugged in the included special dongle does not fit well if a USB C cable is plugged in next to it. This adapter solves the problem. It works straight away with no fuss.
