Nice replacement for my Roku 3

This is a nice streaming player. I used it to replace my earlier Roku 3, which died after about 6-7 years of use. The Roku Ultra LT 2019 has a great remote control, which can turn the TV on and off, and control the TV volume (as well as the Mute capability). It was very easy to setup, needing only my WiFi password. You can skip the option to enter credit card information (for when you wish to purchase viewing opportunities over your streaming player). It is also nice in that it seems to "shut itself off" whereas my previous Roku 3 remained on constantly. I have only had it for a few weeks, but so far it has been working perfectly. I have not tried using voice control. If you don't need the fancier headphones, you can save a bit by buying this Ultra LT model instead of the Ultra model. I think that's the main difference.

Best Alternative to Renting a Cable Box

I'm so Happy I purchased ROKU ULTRA LT!! I needed a way to rid myself of the $12.99 I was paying XFINITY for a DVR. A co-worker recommended I buy this one and because I have 3 other older ROKU 3 models on my other TV's once I got this one connected all I had to do was add my WIFI NAME/PASSWORD and if you have a ROKU account associated with your email once you type your email in it detects all your apps and automatically adds them for you which is a plus I love the way my picture and sound is too, However I did have one mishap I'm using a HDMI to connect when I plugged in a spare HDMI cable I had my ROKU wasn't working until I looked at the instructions it clearly states if you are using a HDMI this ROKU requires a "PREMIUM HDMI HIGH SPEED CABLE" which I didn't have I was able to go to my local WALMART and found one for less than $10 after hooking it up Finally I saw the ROKU screen I was worried I'd need a 4K TV I'm using a old PANASONIC 55 inch that's over 12 years old!! I also like the screen savers too Lol for $60 bucks it's worth it Thanks Walmart!
