Absolutely, happy I made this purchase! I had a 50in "smart" LG in my bedroom I purchased in 2011 and had not used it in ovet a year since it did not have the capability to connect to WiFi. I had to plug directly into network. I had been mulling over buying the Roku, thinking, that it would be a big hassle. Boy was I wrong! I highly recommend it. Easy plug in, set up and really good resolution on my TV. I am currently enjoying HULU.

Buy it, you don't regret .

I loveee roku, someone suggested me to get one. I have spectrums cable and internet services, and the roku stream all the channel that I see in my living room tv connected with spectrums. It really works, and the best thing is that you don't have to pay every month for the same service that you pay for an extra tv in spectrums service. Also if you don't have a smart tv, and you want to have Netflix or other movies tv apps you can connect roku and you have all those apps all ready set up to use it. I really don't know the difference with the difference types of roku but this one that I buy, it works really good for me. Please don't pay anything after you install it. If someone call you or send a link saying that you have to pay, don't do it. Roku ask you for a card information so when you want to pay for a subscription (for Netflix, Disney , Hulu, etc) you don't need to put again the information, but roku don't charge for the installation. My experience was that they took like .99 cts to verify the account and then they returned back to the account.
